- Great company! Really takes care of their nurses. Made the process easy. I felt comfortable leaving my home and traveling knowing they had my back. 08/13/2021
- worked for them for 6mos, didn't have an assignment when I arrived, have no say in what type of assignment you must take, asked for 1bd and gave me efficiency and would not move me even though a suitable apt was available. didn't try to get me an assignment in town and I had to drive 1 1/2 hrs to and from work. staffing rude, and hard to get a return call from "travel recruiter" who is doing his job so he can meet travel nurses and has been inappropriate with some of my fellow travellers, and is full of BS most of the time. The director is condesending and phony, kicked me out of apt 5 days prior to my scheduled flight date. had no place to stay. not a professional company for travel in my opinion. Ok for agency I suppose.
- I have lived in hawaii and worked with this agency for several months,the assignments are constantly being revised or cancelled- although if you manage to actually get started with the shifts the pay rate for this company is competetive depending on the competition for the hours with another local agency..the staff were often rude within the agency-hard to get an honest answer-and often never returns your calls...I gave up and went to a reputable company

ALTRES was founded in 1969 in Honolulu; they have been established in Hawaii over 30 years. Recently ALTRES started travel nurse division for mainland nurses wanting to work and enjoy the "Land of Aloha"! ALTRES Medical aims to provide "hometown service" for travelers. Since they are located in Hawaii and on each island, we can provide better support and service to our mainland travelers.
